ATV: Coleman Powermate Pressure Washer

I use my Coleman Powermate pressure washer on my ATV every weekend. I bought it specifically for that reason–it really gets rid of the mud and grit easily. I used to spend a couple hours cleaning my truck after each excursion, and with the Coleman Powermate pressure washer, Ive cut that time in half.

When they saw me washing my truck, they were really impressed because even though they had water guns, they just didnt compare to my pressure washer. They wanted me to spray them, but I knew that would not be safe. Instead, I just sprayed the water directly up in the air and let the water fall down on them. When you are dealing with the enormous power of a pressure washer, you always have to keep the manufacturers safety precautions in mind.

ATV: Winch Cover

A winch cover can protect your winch from both weather and damage inflicted by debris. I would recommend getting a hard winch cover because not only does it protect your winch from the harsh effects of Mother Nature, but it also protects your winch from getting bumped up when you are out on the trails. A soft nylon cover can protect from the elements, but it wont guard against flying rocks and scratches from tree branches.

I remember a few months back, my friends and I were scouting out for a good location to set up camp. One of my friends got stuck in a deep trench, so he decided to attach his winch to a tree and pull himself out. To his surprise, his winch was damaged and wouldnt work.

I was able to use my winch to help pull him out of the trench, and when it was all over, I strongly urged him to invest in a hard-sided winch cover. I directed him to my favorite online store for ATV parts and accessories. Im really happy with my hard cover. I think it has really extended the life of my winch. Since I use it so much, I really dont want to have to replace it just because I didnt have a winch cover for it. My hard cover keeps my winch safe from the elements so I never have to worry about a rusted cord failing me in the crucial moment.

ATV: ATV Cabin

I really want to get myself an ATV cabin for my fishing trips. There have been times when my friends and I would get caught in an awful downpour. Of course, this never deters us from doing what we set out to do, but it would be much more enjoyable if we didnt end up soaking wet.

Typically when we are out fishing and it starts to rain, we just string up a tarp up over several trees and sit underneath it until the weather lets up. If I had an ATV cabin on one of these rainy fishing trips, I could just sit on my ATV and wait for it to pass. I would also be able to go mobile without getting wet.

Ive been doing my research, and I think Im ready to purchase an ATV cabin. If youre interested in one, too, look for a coated nylon cover with a tube frame. Steel tubes are preferable for durability. My summer splurge this year will definitely be an ATV cabin.

My friends will be definitely be jealous because I will be the only dry person on our fishing trips. Ill watch the storm, safe and dry, through the clear plastic windows of my cabin. The great thing about ATV cabins is their versatility–if it stops raining, I can either unzip the doors for some extra ventilation or I can roll them up and snap them in place. If youre constantly battling the elements like I am, you should consider investing in a durable, all-weather ATV cabin.
