ATV: AC Winch

Any ATV enthusiast knows that one of the best pieces of equipment you can have is an AC winch. An AC winch can be used wherever there is a wall socket or a plug-in with AC power. You can lift, drag, pull, or haul just about anything with one of these powerful winches.

There are many makes and models of winches. One of my favorites is the Warn Works 1500 AC winch. It can pull a load of around 1,500 pounds, and the higher-end models can pull many times that weight. AC winches are great because they can be used indoors and outdoors for just about any job you can think of.

The AC Winch Packs a Lot of Power
The basic Warn AC winch comes with an eight-inch cord and three-prong plug for use in any standard grounded outlet. If you need more than 1,500 pounds of pulling power, Warn makes several advanced models that can haul up to 3,200 pounds. These winches all come with Warns excellent limited lifetime warranty.

To come up with the best price for an AC winch, you can spend lots of time running errands around town, checking specialty off-road stores or hardware stores. Or you can save time and fuel and do your searching online. Often you can save on shipping when you buy in bulk, and some online vendors will even ship your items for free. Combine that with the freedom to shop from home, and youve got a great way to add to your collection of ATV accessories.
